“The Future of Jerusalem”

The early 21st century has seen no relief from the ongoing conflict in Jerusalem. This session will explore the future of a city claimed by many as a religious and cultural capital. What are the possibilities for peace? Do religious traditions rooted in Jerusalem point to solutions or to continued conflict?

When: Tuesday February 23, 7:00 PM
Where: Main Auditorium of Clowes Memorial Hall on the Butler campus

Admission is free, however tickets are required, and available at the Clowes box office and Ticketmaster (Ticketmaster fees apply). There is a limit of two tickets perperson.

Speaker: Mr. Serge Schmemann is the editorial editor of the International Herald Tribune in Paris. He has served as bureau chief for the New York Times in Moscow, Johannesburg and Jerusalem. In 1991, Mr. Schmemann won the Pulitzer Prize for best international reporting.
